1. This image reminds me of the Art Deco style because of it's depicting modernism as "being cool" like in slide number 42. This picture makes life look elegant because of the idea of being out on the town drinking cosmos and also incorporates the flat shaped depiction of this style.

2. This ad is definitely part of the Psychedelia style. It has clashing colors with a hippie feel to them. They use very bright fun colors and put them into a sort of waving style.
The words are not strictly horizontal and vertical. They kind of flow through a smooth pattern...As do the designs in the background. The car is sitting in front of squiggly lines.

3. This picture is from the Art Nuevo style period. It depicts women in a way that never existed in other eras. They were always happy and self-assured in the advertisements. It notes that this era was always shown with swirling motions like from Van Gogh with it's swirling abstract lines. Sometimes these abstract lines would come in hair or other kinds of underlying lines.

4. This picture represents Digital style. It's really busy with lots of over lapping shapes and words. It is sometimes described as chaotic and messy. There are some geometric shapes in the background and then some new age shapes covering their bodies. This slide reminds me of slide 34 where a body part is covered with other objects to make up that part. In that case it was letters, and in this case it's swirls.

It was stated in the slide show that sometimes artists make objects look absurd in the digital style. I would say that this is a great example.

5. This picture reminded me of the Arts and Crafts style. It has a border that reminds me of border of slide 22. It has kind of a classic Victorian appeal to it.
