The 'reduce law' reminds me a lot of how we originally saved information from a computer. It use to start with a floppy disc, then years later we could store information on a compact disc which was thinner, stored more information and was more convinient. The floppy disc became absolete and now the preferred method is storing information on a flash drive. These changes may often reduce things but does not change the quality or convenience of the product.
When I think of the 'time law' and how it relates to my life, I immediately think of my tasks at work. I pride myself on being the most efficient worker and by this it takes a lot of multi-tasking. I work at fareway in the meat department and often times when I start to help a customer I try to finish the task I was working on. Time is very important at my job and I rarely take my 15 minute break to assure that I can accomplish all my tasks. Other methods that I find effective for saving time is while I work on one task I try and think about what I'm going to do next and what steps I need to take to accomplish it as efficiently as possible.
At work everything I learn is from my co-workers and this relates to the 'learn law'. At my job as a part-timer im expected to know the very basics however I find it more useful to be as knowledgable as a full-time worker. These tasks include cutting meat, prepairing food items, using our cooking equipment, knowledge of how to prepaire each item and understanding the grade of meat. Learning these tasks from my co workers also allows me to solidify the simpler tasks I'm expected to do. This motivation to learn everything I'm capable of is driven from the inspiration of my co workers. I feel this is a great tool for becoming a better worker.
