Victorian

This image is Victorian because it is classy yet busy. The designs around the words are elaborate and exaggerated. The book cover has romantic illustrations and decorative borders that looks like art from the Victorian era. My image most closely resembles the image on slide 14 of Victorian.

Late Modern

This advertisement for Absolut Vodka is Late Modern because it is simple, clean and direct. The words are very important for this advertisement, just as they were for advertisements during the Late Modern era. This advertisement is also late modern because it uses shilouettes and simple colored letters against a dark background. This advertisement most closely resembles the image on slide 57 of Late Modern.

Psychodelic
This image is psycodelic because it has many flashy, bright, retro colors. It also uses mixing shapes. This image is also psychodelic because it definitely mirrors art seen during the 1960s. Also, as Kelsey mentioned earlier, the words on the page are not simply horizontal or vertical, they follow a free-flowing curve. The image that most closely resembles this image is on slide 14 of Psychodelic.

Digital
This album cover is digital because it has distressed textures and rough, primitive edges. The image is also digital because it has overlapping textures and a rugged, messy, absurd and unstable look. This image most closely resembles the image on slide 31 of digital. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/55/LaurynHillTheMiseducationofLaurynHillalbumcover.jpg

Swiss International
This album cover for DeadMau5 is Swiss International because it is clear, simple and efficient. It is also Swiss International because it uses abstraction and many elements of geometry. Swiss International uses geometry as its main element of design. My image most closely resembles the image on slide 19 of Swiss International. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZG1f25U5KfQ/R6crGigCwII/AAAAAAAAAhA/Dw9dBYu6a1I/s400/tau_cover.jpg.
